Cabinet de avocatură av. dr. Toma Georgian has practiced criminal and civil law in Bucharest since 2013. Av. dr. Toma Georgian also has a strong academic background, teaching criminal law at two Bucharest law faculties and serving on a national commission, so the website needed to reflect both sides of his work: legal practice and academic expertise.
The Challenge
The main challenge was presenting av. dr. Toma Georgian’s professional and academic background in a way that felt clear and credible, without turning the website into a long academic CV.
- Present a PhD in criminal law, two university teaching positions, and a national commission membership without overwhelming the About page
- Cover a broad legal practice — litigation, criminal law, and contract work — while giving each area enough detail to stand on its own
- Show client feedback prominently, since choosing a criminal defense lawyer is a decision people tend to research carefully
- Build a useful legal blog around topics clients actively search for, from DUI cases and parole to protective orders and drug possession
- Support both Romanian and English for local and international clients dealing with Romania’s legal system
What We Built for Av. Dr. Toma Georgian
The website was built with Elementor and Polylang, giving av. dr. Toma Georgian a bilingual Romanian and English structure that is easy to navigate and manage. The homepage opens with a direct positioning statement focused on the practice itself, rather than relying on the usual law-office stock photography.

The three main practice areas — Litigation, Criminal Law, and Contracts — each have their own scope and structure. The Criminal Law section goes into particular depth, covering corruption, organized crime, drug trafficking, human trafficking, cybercrime, economic offenses, traffic offenses, and violent crime, with representation from the investigation stage through every level of court.

The About page brings together av. dr. Toma Georgian’s academic and professional background without reducing it to a list of credentials. He has been a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2013, teaches criminal law and criminalistics at Titu Maiorescu University’s Faculty of Law, teaches criminal law at Hyperion University, and has served on the National Anti-Doping Agency’s hearing commission since July 2023.
His academic background also includes a PhD in criminal law, defended in March 2019 and awarded Magna Cum Laude. Presenting these details properly was important because they are not separate from the legal practice — they help explain the depth of expertise behind it.

Client reviews are placed directly on the homepage, where they can support the rest of the information rather than being hidden on a separate testimonials page. Named Google reviews with profile photos give prospective clients another perspective before they decide to make contact.

The legal blog adds another practical layer to the website. Av. dr. Toma Georgian publishes guidance on subjects people often search for when they are already dealing with a legal problem, including DUI charges, parole, drug possession for personal use, road traffic accidents, domestic violence protective orders, and pension recalculation appeals.
Each article is built around the legal framework behind the issue, giving visitors useful context before they decide whether they need legal assistance.
The Result
A bilingual legal website that brings together av. dr. Toma Georgian’s practice, academic work, professional background, client feedback, and legal writing in one coherent place. It gives prospective clients a much clearer picture of both the lawyer and the depth of expertise behind the practice before they make contact.
